Molt feliç aniversari a Josep Carreras que avui fa 66 anys!!!

Ogni volta che mi trovo a scrivere in questo giorno così speciale è sempre una grande emozione. Con gioia annuncio a chi per caso non lo ricordasse che oggi Josep Carreras festeggia il compleanno: il nostro tenore venne alla luce il 5 Dicembre di sessantasei anni fa nel quartiere barcellonese di Sants, come terzogenito di Josep Carreras Soler e Antònia Coll. 

Meno di un mese fa parlavamo del "secondo compleanno", quel "day zero" marcato dall'autotrapianto di midollo osseo, la prima vera tappa del suo arduo percorso verso la guarigione dalla leucemia. Oggi, invece, parliamo di un compleanno più tradizionale, ma si tratta sempre di un evento importante cui prendiamo parte con una certa emozione quando si celebra una persona a noi cara. So bene di parlare a nome di tutti voi, quando dico che proprio di questo si tratta: Josep Carreras è una presenza importante nella vita di tutti coloro che, come noi,  hanno scoperto una certa affinità per quella sensibilità unica e speciale che caratterizza il suo essere artista, per coloro che rimangono indifesi di fronte alla sincerità della sua interpretazione, in estasi per la squisita bellezza della sua voce, per coloro che ammirano anche la sua attitudine positiva e coraggiosa nei confronti della vita, per chi intravede nel suo sguardo la confortante luce della speranza. Per chi lo stima artisticamente ed umanamente, per chi, semplicemente, non può fare a meno di provare grande affetto nei suoi confronti.

In una recente intervista aveva dichiarato che sarebbe rientrato in tempo da Tokyo per festeggiare insieme alla famiglia, per poi ripartire per la Germania. Onestamente credo che Josep non desideri altro, nel giorno del suo compleanno, che trascorrerlo serenamente a contatto con il calore delle persone a lui più care. Noi non possiamo far altro che unirci simbolicamente in un brindisi, augurandogli di tutto cuore che la salute, la serenità e l'amore facciano sempre parte della sua vita, che realizzi tutti i suoi obiettivi, professionali e personali, e qualsiasi altra cosa che possa renderlo felice.

I joyfully announce, to those who  do not remember it, that today Josep Carreras celebrates his Birthday: our tenorwas born on December 5 of sixty-six years ago in the Sants district of Barcelona, as Josep Carreras Soler and Antònia Coll's third son.

◦ Less than a month ago we were talking about his "second birthday", that so called "day zero" marked by his bone marrow autologous transplant, the very first step of his hard way to recovery from leukemia. Today, however, we talk of a more traditional kind of Birthday, but it is always an important event which we emotionally take part in , when we are celebrating a someone who is particularly dear to us. I know all of you feel the same, when I say exactly that this is the case: Josep Carreras is an important presence in the lives of all those who, like us, have discovered an affinity for that unique and special sensitivity that characterizes his being an artist, for those who afind themselves helpless in front of the extraordinary sincerity of his interpretation, for those who are in ecstasy for the exquisite beauty of his voice, for those who admire his courage and positive attitude towards life, for those who can see in his eyes the comforting light of hope. For those who esteem him artistically and humanly, for those who simply can not help but feel great affection for him.

◦ In a recent interview he stated that he would be back in time from Tokyo to celebrate it with his family and then off to Germany. I honestly believe that Josep would not like anything for his birthday, but to celebrate it in the warmth of his dearest ones. We can not help but symbolically join in a brindisi, wishing him with our  heart that health, serenity and love always to be part of his life, wishing him to achieve anything that, either professionallly or personallly, can make him happy.
